In general, I like military mounts. Since they taper slightly I can always get a firm fit that is easy to remove.

I love my army mounts. You can take it up another notch and go the spigot route, which are the best of the best IMO. They go together and take down so effortlessly. It’s literally a pleasurable tactile experience to manipulate a spigot, it’s sort of bizarrely gratifying. It’s a shame my one spigot is an estate that currently tastes like crap, I haven’t gotten it to smoke right yet. I’d like to use it more often.

The new hallmarks are very small and hard to read. I have a new system spigot. I cannot for the life of me make them out.

Actually smoking a Peterson 102 Army Mount as I read this. All my army mount Pete's are great smokers but these 102 shapes are just the perfect size. And I'm always happy to find any Pete I like the shape of for less than $80 bucks. Sounds like it'll give you many years of joy, as mine have. I like my army mounts even more than the spigot that I have.
