EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9) - Bob

Hi all.
Trying to find out why this sherlock holmes pipe has a stem that sits inside the shank, Rather than sit up against the shank.
just seems odd, its a watson or baskerville i think.
Any help would be much appreciated.IMG_20200309_221456.jpg

Yep i know that, what i mean is that all other sherlock pipes i ever seen have the stem fitting up against the collar.
should have said that i know it's a military fit. can't seem to find when they made this design. This is what i see on all other sherlock pipes.
Thank you for your reply.IMG_20200309_224050.jpg

It's not been remade by someone homemade design or anything like that. it's made just like you see it.
i thought it might have been butchered to fit that stem but it's all how it should be made to fit that stem.

The Baskerville SH is a Peterson system pipe. In regular production some years back together with the SH Original.
