I haven't checked recently, but in the U.S., SP has the most expansive inventory of Petersons I know of, maybe since Laudisi owns both Peterson and SP. I think Laudisi also has a European web site where they might offer a wider selection of 9 mm filter pipes, since they are much more popular in Europe.

I don't associate the prince shape with Peterson, but I'm not familiar with their entire history or line. Savinelli does a good prince shape in various series and formats.

406 is a very small pipe with rather thin stem and shank. I'm not sure if it can accommodate 9mm filter.

And expanding the shank enough to fit a 9mm filter, without increasing the dimensions everywhere else, would ruin the lines of a Prince to me. The 408 makes it work; does Peterson make an Author?

@OverMountain, have you considered a Savinelli Prince with a 6mm filter as a compromise?
