Peterson Military V.P.B.

Does anyone know anything about this line? There is one Ebay right now ( a 406 listed as a 120 and apparently overpriced since no one has bought it) but I can't find anything about it online other than V.P.B. means Vulcanite Push Bit.

Never heard of it. But, some others might have more info. It's interesting that "band" seems to be something other than metal. Possibly vulcanite? The stem looks to be a typical military mounts stem.

According to SP.com, the mount is vulcanite as well. They had one at one time, a 120, but knew nothing about it.

There's a mention of V.P.B. in the Peterson Pipe book. Do you have a copy? If not, I'll take a pic of it and post it later tonight.

I'll see what I can find in the book, but I can tell you for certain it's an entry level pipe... nothing special.
