Peterson 3’P’s vs. Salty Dogs

I been smoking both Peterson’s 3P’s and Dan Tobacco Salty Dogs and taste very little difference between the two. Can others here chime in and possibly tell me what I am missing?

Salty dogs is a VaPer and 3ps is a VaBur

The strength difference I picked up on, it’s the lack of taste difference that I’m having a hard time with.

Truth be told, because 3P’s is stronger, I like it slightly better.

I like them both. I also find 3P's to be stronger with a bit more nuance, but the 3P plugs I have are also older than the salty dog.

I just have a hard time wasting 3P's full stop! Does nothing for me....I have 5year old Salty dog that has yet to be tried and I was hoping it would be better....?

I’ve found with both blends that preparation is key. Both are more flavorful to me cube cut then rubbed. Any other type of prep leaves them both tasting flat.

I highly recommend them both, but 3P’s has a better nic hit in my opinion. It’s probably due to the burley, which I don’t smoke a bunch of.

Well since these are both plugs, you might be missing some of the nuances if they arent dried out enough.

Salty Dogs also has rum and I'd my favorite of the two.

3Ps is a very good VaBur with a medium nicotine hit for me. Salty Dogs has a very different flavor profile as it’s a VaPer and is spicier and more stewy fruity. Also, there is a light boozy quality to Dogs. ️
