Perfection!!!

Hello all. I've been on a quest for the longest for Samuel Gawith's Perfection. It's an English tweaked with a little Vanilla flavoring. Can any of you out there that have tried this let me know what it's like, and is there a flavored English blend similar or good? Any of you have any "recipes"? I want to get some pure Latakia & try my own, or flavor any English blends. Thanks for your help. LeRoy

I have tried it. Have a few ounces around here somewhere. It's ok, but I don't think it was near perfection.

Haven't tried Perfection myself but I don't mind a bit of Latakia in a semi-aromatic.
You can experiment by mixing up a few bowls of an aromatic with an English blend.

I had a pound of Mark Twain, which was too sweet and sticky for my tastes and a pound of London Squire which was dry and a bit too astringent.
Mixing the two together [around 70%MT/30% LS] made a rather tasty smoke.

I have tried it but wasn't impressed with it. Seems like it would make a good smoke (An English/Vanilla cross over blend). It's been a long while but I just seem to remember thinking "Wow, they named this wrong!" It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good.
