I generally love Peretti's blends, and I've tried many of them. I'm smoking No Name now, and I pretty much like it. I find that its floral, perfumey taste lingers long after the pipe is finished ... and I mean hours after. Is this unusual?

Nope. Many tobaccos 'ghost' pipes, hence the common practice of dedicating pipes to certain genres to eliminate the crossover of flavors.

American lakeland was my experience as well. Peretti blends have a unique top note, savory/salty thing. I would understand why someone wouldn't like them, it makes sense. I have 2 oz ive been working on for a while, it is nice to change it up.
