Any pipe clubs near Lancaster, PA?

We have some guys near there come to our meetings in Bethlehem at the Wooden Match. The Lehigh Valley Pipe Club meets next on June 1 at 7:00 PM. Feel free to join us.

Not that I'm aware of. But, you have one of the best pipe shops on the East Coast at Wingenroths. Tell Mel that Al Jones sent you! The Allentown Club is very active, they actually meet in Bethlehem (at the Wooden Match). On I-78, at Cigars International, they have a "Pipe Guild" that meets once a month. Of course you aren't too far from Boswells either, in Chambersburg. A bunch of guys get-together there on almost any Saturday, but they have a big event on the first Sat of the month.

navypipe23, I live relatively close to Lancaster and I know several others in the area who may show up if we decide to have a monthly conclave. Both of the clubs I currently attend (Lehigh Valley & Philly) are low key affairs, no officers or agendas, just meet, greet, eat, drink and gab. There is a cigar bar in downtown Lancaster called, oddly enough, the Lancaster Cigar Bar. I wonder if they would mind if we meet there, especially if it's a night early in the week when business may be on the slow side. They have drinks and a menu - kind of mandatory for the guys in the clubs I'm in now. What do you think? Shall we give it a try?

If you make it on the Harrisburg side of Lancaster...I would come down. The next Tobbacco Company in Hummlestown has a large smoking lounge.

Cigar International in Hamburg does have a monthly meeting for cigar smokers. I think they call it the Pipe Guild.

annraoi, the Morley's Club meets once month. Some of their members also come to the Lehigh Valley Pipe Club in Bethlehem on the 4th Monday of every month.

Yes, Simon, there is an Amish Amphora club but they meet in West Virginia. I'm sure you'd fit in well with them. You have a Biblical name and a funny accent like the Amish. I suggest you get on of their cool hats before attending.

Just wanted to say that I attended my first Pipe Club meeting last night in Philadelphia and it was a blast. Great group of people, they couldn't be nicer. Had a lot fun, smoked some new preview tobaccos that I am really excited about and will keep my eye out for. I am really looking forward to next months meeting....!

Almost forgot....I just wanted to thank Les for the invite and his hospitality last night. He helped make what could have been a nervous awkward occasion, into a great evening. Thanks again and see you all in January.

I couldn't make the Philly meeting this time, it is a very rewarding experience each time I've visited.

We haven't seen you in a while, Al! Morley's was great last night. We had a great turn-out, must have been at least 30 people there, including a half dozen or so guys from here at pipesmagazine. Les, me and William Serad were the last ones out of the place at 12:30.
