Hello friends, I was recently asked to make somthing similiar to the Geiger Partly Peeled Nose Warmer for a member of this fine forum. Here is my work so far, there are some little details that I must still work out. I unfortunatley do not have a sandblasting setup yet so I rusticated it instead. This is my take on it... Happy smoking!

That is looking very good; can't wait to see it when you put the finishing touches on.

WOW!
Very nicely done. She's beautiful *tears up*
I really love the look when there's that thin line of stained and polished briar that is enclosed with rustication. It really makes the non rusticated briar pop (obviously) and I'd really like to see carvers do much more with this dynamic.

Congrats bb that's a work of art. Some member is gonna be thrilled with that. I notice you said no sandblasting set up "yet". A blasted briar bird in the future is going to be sweet!
