PAD: LCS Briars Baby Chrysalis 5-Star Supergrain

I had just placed an order for the bent billiard 4-star I recently shared and was not looking to purchase another pipe right away. I was watching one of Simon's live streams and he was mentioning a couple pipes he was selling to help cover the costs of his daughter's wedding. When I saw the Baby Chrysalis, and he proceeded to offer it at a very reasonable price, I couldn't say no. It is easily the most beautiful pipe I own now. The grain is stunning, the shaping is curvaceous -- there is a pronounced "S"-shaped ridge along the bottom. Fit and finish is perfect. So here it is: the LCS Briars Baby Chrysalis 5-star Supergrain with salmon/black ebonite stem:

His pipes are reasonable priced, but his carving is a little clunky to me.

Lovely pipe! He did another pipe with a sharp edge like yours that made it look like folded paper in the style of origami.
