No offense, but why would you go onto an internet forum and asks a bunch of people what is going on with your account.

The best way to me would be to ask the vendor and paypal, not a bunch of strangers.

Just my opinion though.
No offense, but,,,

1) Since it is a vendor that a lot of people on the forum use, I thought someone might have some advice - I have met nothing but knowledgeable people here.
2) Have you ever tried to get a response from PayPal? - I have been singularly unsuccessful...

Just my opinion though.

I have the same thing going on with a tool company. I am just wondering if after three months, if it is still pending, will the money be released back to me, because what is going on is that the vender is not finalizing the transaction. According to Paypal, after three months the pending transactions should be released back to your acct. They don't have control of the acct, actually it's the opposite if they don't finish the transaction.
If their cash-flow is such that they don't need to finalize their account - they can afford to lower their prices...

I know of someone who had similar experiences for several months. PP in those instances was responsive and explained the merchant simply had not chosen to accept the funds as of the date of inquiry and that's their choice. The amounts were long gone from the purchaser's funding source. And this person learned from PP that this kind of thing was not unusual nor out of the question. No future refund or return of initial funds was to be expected based on these transactions. I add that this person received the merchandise timely and in good condition and was satisfied.

Seemed to this person, the merchant who was either cash flush or didn't collect their moneys from PP except on a quarterly or otherwise basis (on this note, again--my assumptions only).

I enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts in these posts and find them helpful. Perhaps the original posting member (forgot his member ID) thinks of you fellow forum members as good friends, as do I, and is simply reaching out to his/her friends.

I also think that if this were to happen to me, I would also contact PP via phone. My experience with them, happily, has always been good. Knock on wood :)

I hope it works out to your satisfaction. And I hope everyone has great smokes today (I'm pausing to light a 2nd bowl for the day, moving from a burley blend wich I concocted :) to C&D's Berry Blend--and ohh that raspberry scent in the jar smells sooooo good :).

kindly
mike
