Our Own Zack Hamric Is Now A Big Time Artisan

You heard it here first. I just bought a pipe from our good buddy Zack Hamric that is as good as anything I own from Rad Davis or Michael Parks or Scott Thile or Brian Ruthenberg or any of the other great artisan pipes I own. It smokes as cool and dry as any of the other high line pipes I own. The stem is incredibly flat and comfortable and nothing beats it for sheer beauty or incredible comfort. Zack has now gone to a level that is unsurpassed by his peers and he has become an artisan of the highest order. People of his ilk rarely show a level of talent seen after only a couple of years of pipe making. What also makes this a special deal is the price he charges. At only 375.00 his price is one hell of a deal. Try getting a pipe of this quality for that kind of money. The pipe is a perfect group 4 and the stem application is a fossilized Walrus dick.

It's a beautifully executed pipe and a favorite shape of mine, but after being violated on a trip to Alaska, I vowed that never again will a walrus cock get anywhere near my mouth.

It has been fun to watch Zack's progression as a pipe maker. Every time I go to a show and visit his table, the pipes he displays and sells just get better and better. Thanks for showing the pics of that handsome piece, although I am not sure that Zack would be pleased regarding your disclosing the material that he used for the adornment ring.
