Title edited for capitals. Rule 9.

I have a gift card to P&C I'm going to use up to make a starter kit to give my boss (and others down the line). Preferably bulk blends so they just get an ounce of labeled Ziploc and I can just throw everything in a large tall jar.

He used to smoke a pipe in his college days. He fondly remembered Captain Black Gold. He occasionally smokes cigars.

I wanted to get him one of every blend essentially to give him the full gambit.

Probably one too many aromatic? Are there any bulk blends you would add or swap out? P&C obviously has some bulk C&D, Stokkebye, Stuff, Hearth & Home, etc on their site.

I have a BIC reach lighter and Czech tool.

Give him a MM cob, as there's no real break in period. Some initial smokes on cheap pipes can be quite nasty and hence off putting.

I ended up adding a cob in as well. Either for him to experiment with or like me to keep around for anyone who might.

I've just had some less than great experiences breaking in a cob but after 3-4 or so smokes they're great.
