We all have blends in our cellar, in varying supplies, that we simply cannot replace. What prompts you to pop a tin of the good stuff? Note that this is more than an academic topic to me as I have been staring at my two remaining tins of Bohemian Scandal. ?

I cellar for a specific date/timeline. When the tin reaches the age of which I wanted to wait, I pop it open. Enjoying quality food, spirits, and tobacco is what I enjoy, YMMV.

My cellar has enough age and breadth now that I'm always going to have at least one tin of something I can't replace open and in a jar to smoke as I want. I like variety with many open tins and rarely smoke exclusively from one tin, so a particular "open" tin will last me a long time. That's why I bought it and waited.

I'm already considering popping something special for the Chicago Show and sharing some with whoever sits close by in the smoking tent. You'll be able to spot me by my huge.....
