Olde English

My wife bought these Olde English wipes for quick dustings of the furniture. Now before I do something really dumb...has anyone used or considered using these on your briars for a quick rub down after smoking? It seems like they'd work well but I don't want to end up messing up my beloved pipes. ::

I've tried both guitar polish and furniture polish with brier pipes on occasion with good results. Certainly no damage to the wood. Olde English could darken the brier a bit, especially with light finish pipes, but the result should be pleasing.
