EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9) - Bob

Hallo
I recently try to fix my pipemaster it had a spark but no flam.
So I take it a part and clean every thing with wd40 and alcohol.
Did not work
The problem is with the butane tank something is stuck the fuel won't go to the nuzzel sorry for my English I attached some pictures.
Where can I get spare parts for my pipemaster. Or a used one for parts

I had a lighter that seemed to have a blockage. I used a can of compressed air to finally clear the way. It took a number of "fills" and bleeds to accomplish this. It worked for a while.

If you can't fix the tank, you could try to get a parts-lighter, but you still might end up with a problem. You can get a new fully-dressed tank, but you'll be in it for probably around $75 by the time you're done paying for it, taxes, & shipping. That's probably around halfway to a new one. Even if you buy a new Pipemaster, you still have a lighter with a plastic internal frame & piezo spark module.
If you want to take one last crack at it, you'd probably try to take that top port of the tank apart to see what's under there, looks like it has a circlip & a knurled cap which is probably threaded into place. There's probably a spring & a seal in there. Also, probably some semi-permeable material in there, which if so, I'd bet that's where any clog would be. You may or may not be able to clean that material, & it may or may not be effective afterwards, & it's usually tough to find replacement materials that will work/fit properly. If you can't do anything once you get in there, probably time to call it a day on that one.

Pipemaster Tank
Click on the link above to see a new tank for sale, not exactly cheap.
If you can send it in for $35 & get it fully rebuilt, it's probably worth it once, but it's still a plastic frame lighter with piezo spark ignition, so take that for what it's worth.

First thank you all! It's so good to have a powerful community like this one!
The lighter is very important for me and it's looks great. I think it's from 1980. This color is so hard to found.
I have a new pipmaster black matt for me the old ones work much better you just click it once and you have a flam if you want to kill it just press the small button up. I think the solutions for my problem is time just wate tell i found one on ebay for parts with good price. Maybe there is a Japanese website where i can found one for parts.

Buying vintage butane lighters is a crapshoot, but more often than not, a losing proposition, unless it’s unique or a great deal even after repair costs.

I bought an older Pipemaster with the shutoff button for $12 at a New Orleans antique shop last month. When I filled it, liquid fuel literally shot out the nozzle. I shipped it off to Arango when I got home. Arango purchased Music City Marketing a few years back. With that, they became the official repair center for IM Corona.

I have sent an IM Corona Old Boy and a Montecristo-branded Double Corona to them. Both are working great. The Old Boy was returned with a lengthy hand-written list of parts that were replaced. The Double Corona was actually sent out to ARS (lighterrepairs.com) by Arango, who wasn’t able to repair it. Oddly enough, I had called ARS about that lighter and they said that they no longer had parts for Double Coronas, but it’s back and working well.

Unfortunately, ssf2020, it sounds like you do not live in the USA, so this might not be a viable option for you.

100% i am from israel. Small and expensive , im corona pipemaster cost new 220$ For a normal one :( .
35$ to rebuild it, its a very good price but i need 35$ for shipping and sometime tax 20$.
i like to work on my lighters with my hands, and no problem to take it apart i did it 6 times.
I did contact Arango and im corona if they can send me a spare part.
I well keep searching the internet for a used one for parts someday maybe i well be lucky :)

12$ for old pipemaster is a very good deal!

sorry again for my poor English

Regards

If you took it that far apart six times already, & your only other options involve spending more money than it's worth, you may as well burn just a little more time & try to take apart the lift-valve on top of the tank to check for problems there. If there are no other issues elsewhere with the lighter, then that's probably where the problem is.

I did try to lift the valve on the top of the tank, after filling it with gas, but no gas was released. I tried lift near my second lighter the flam stay the some did not go big.

I think you want to unscrew the knurled cap first (1) to see if the whole lift-valve sub-assembly can be removed, & see if you can find a restriction under there. If that comes out as a subassembly & you want to take it apart further, you'd probably have to pop off the circlip (2).

Hallo
I successfully open it but something weird ? happen.
now if I try to fill it all gas go out from (3) see pictures. Without lifting the lift-valve sub-assembly inside the tank was something plastic or gummy very broken
I can not know what is it ,there is also a metal part see in the picture.
I understand how it's working lift-valve sub-assembly
When you open it the hole (2) will be closed and the gas will go from (1) to (2)

Very interesting lighter :)

The gummy/plastic part was probably a rubber gas seal that has deteriorated. It also could have had some semi-permeable material against or near the seal, as part of the metering system. Whatever deteriorated was probably clogging the valve &/or the opening in the tank leading to the valve. Now that you've cleared it, it's going to flow gas constantly until you replace the seal &/or whatever else was in there that has gone bad. But if it's flowing now, then that's where the blockage was.
