Finally, the long wait is over (4 days and first world problem, I know). Thanks to the folks at site-sponsor SmokingPipes.com , my order of tobacco has arrived. While I order a few regulars, I was particularly excited about this order due to all the new things to try and a new cob. The cob is an Old Dominion. When I found out there was a cob maker, practically in my backyard, I just had to try one out.

9- And SP.com was giving out samples with certain orders, so I opted for some C&D Pirate Kake (looking forward to finally trying this)

My main reason for wanting to try an OD cob - besides the proximity of their maker - is the bamboo stem. I know they use different corn than MM, its some kind of Indian Heritage strain. And, the bowl on the chesapeake is fairly small, fits my pink perfectly. All in all, looking forward to giving it a go.
