Offset Bent Pipe Stems.

Just wondering. I've noticed that my few full Bent pipes have a slight offset to them.
I o ly have three full bentnts but they all have an off set to the bit. What is the reasoning? Or am I unlucky?

If they are factory pipes, some will have possible stem issues. Some of my Peterson have stem issues, button issues.. I'm hearing stem takes time and work. Most factories won't put that time in. Per discussion through one of the post, at least, Peterson is working on stem issues. SP is usually willing to work with customers.

Just lack of care in manufacture, is all. Heat the stem, bend it, next one.

You can slowly heat it and twist it back.

I have one pipe that did that. Took years to happen.

The Lee probably needs to be re clocked. It’s a function of screw on tenons over time.
