This change in distributors might include Samuel Gawith, it might not.
Maybe not as long as you might think.
Awesome! Just been at it for a bit less than 6 months. Love Samuel Gawith and the G&H blends I have tried have wowed me as well. Got a few on the list to try and, possibly, start cellaring.
Soon, Laudisi will control the entire pipe world!
Luckily for me, Laudisi owns my favourite retailer. I look forward to a more consistent supply experience.

I count this as good news as I believe Laudisi has the corporate know-how to make money by getting the product stateside.
Laudisi and STG will merge and change their name to Tyrell Corp. They will produce a line of match blends called Replicants.
lack of demand? everything they send here sales out before they send more.
Super smart move on their part. Laudisi has huge visibility and market share here in the states. Distributing through them will ensure that all of their product moves swiftly. And, all of us nerds that search for drops won’t have to search quite as hard. Granted, it’ll sell out faster. But this makes total sense from a business standpoint.

Yeh, tell me about it. Whenever smokingpipes gets in ropes or plugs they sell out faster than I can respond. When was the last time they've had a Gawith in stock for longer than a few days?
There was a guy who owned a plant nursery in a neighboring town, and he carried this Bug Away organic spray. It worked great for protecting roses, which are hard to keep the bugs off of, and he was selling it so fast that he just got to where, when he got it in, he would just cut the top off of the box, and people would grab them out of there. Then he went weeks without getting any in. So, I asked him why. He said, "It was selling so fast that it was just too hard to keep stocked."
Duh!!! It was my only reason for going in that place. I would pick up various other things, just because I was there already, but now he is out of business. Some people just have no clue.
