I’m trying not to destroy this Dr. Grabow Starfire. It is unsmoked and the stem is off by about 200 degrees from where it should be. As you can see in the first pic, the spade icon is upside down. As you can see in the second pic, the stem is tilted about 20 degrees from flat. Can anyone shed some light on how the stem is put together? Is the metal threaded into the stem or glued? I don’t want to start twisting with pliers if it’s glued. I thought about adding a small ferrule or washer to bring it back to center. Less concerned about the orientation of the icon and more concerned with smoking it with the bowl straight up. Thoughts?
