This was an 8 ounce tin.
It was Union Square.Damn, that's a science experiment gone wrong. What tobacco what that?
No, there was no swelling of the tin or anything that made me suspect it might have a problem. If I recall correctly, it was only about a year or two old when I popped the tin and discovered the mold. For future reference, was there any swelling of the tin? What kind of odour was there with this sample?
Was there anything to indicate the seal had been compromised? Or was this a previously opened tin?
I’m definitely gonna toss the entire jar. What was it before it went Wookie? Hopefully nothing too valuable.
Sorry to see that. I wouldn’t trust anything in the jar.
Ouch, what year? The tin looks pretty new and the cardboard disks don't look too discolored so it looks like it could be fairly recent. It was Union Square.
What unfortunate 'baccy was this?View attachment 259334
Hello all.
Just wanted to post this picture of moldy tobacco as a potential reference for folks that might see stuff they think is mold but aren’t sure. This is what moldy baccy looks like.
I’d rather not say. What unfortunate 'baccy was this?
Yeah. Real pity morels don’t grow in baccy tins.Nobody ever opens a tin and finds a bunch of morels, always just nastiness.
Spores man! It's trash. lolI hope it has only infested a few flakes and not the whole jar
Wil have to open my one tin soon. It’s about to turn 2 years old. However, I did just open a 4 year old tin of Quiet Nights and it is good to go.It was Union Square.
