I know many find it frustrating that so many very fine pipes are so very hard to date. One of the (many) things I appreciate about Ian Walker’s Northern Briars is the clear stampings on his pipes. I am not a collector, but I do appreciate being able to know, for example, when a pipe was made, whether I purchase it from the craftsman directly, or from a retailer. I thought perhaps a few others might be interested to see the stampings, which include dates.
