I had a glass of Noble Pilsner in Greensburg PA....Not so good as last year..Last Years Noble Pilser was kick ass with a kick ass hoppy flavor and was a good inbtween pipe tobbaco blends to wash out the flavor of your last blend....This year it is rather weak...Of course since Sam Adams contract brews in several locations it could be the Latrobe contract who is screwing this up. for reviews. Also PA is great for smoking and drinking in bars

That's too bad. I enjoyed the Noble Pils last year. This year's run isn't in our stores yet. Sam Adams is always accused of variation and recipe modification. I haven't had enough of them to personally verify the claims. I wouldn't be surprised, though.
I guess I'll have to stick with Pilsner Urquell, the original and only decent lager I have available locally. (In my informed opinion)

I tried it last year (for obvious reasons) and enjoyed the "hoppy-ness". Looks like I'll have to pick up some this year to see if it's any different than last year's...
