Another Canadian team bites the dust! Three down, two to go! Hopefully one more joins them tomorrow, and let's hope Dallas doesn't suddenly forget how to play hockey like the Kings and the Knights did.
By the way, I would think any of Vegas' opponents would be utterly distracted by those baby vomit-colored uniforms. Hideous!![]()
Yeap we had the tissue box out on the couch last night after that game. What a sport, such a display of heart! From the Capitals play at the end of the season, and struggling at times with the #8 seed in Round One, I knew we wouldn't get past the Canes.
The handshake like last night is what I love about hockey. The Jets Mark Scheifele's father passed away unexpectedly this morning. He played tonight but lost the elimination game in OTand the series (he scored the Jets only goal). The Dallas player consoling him, Jamie Benn, was fined for punching him in the last game. A series in the NHL always ends with a handshake line. No fake handshakes, like in the NFL. Tonight, a little more. That's great sportsmanship.

Four down, one to go! We draweth ever nearer!!Another Canadian team bites the dust! Three down, two to go! Hopefully one more joins them tomorrow, and let's hope Dallas doesn't suddenly forget how to play hockey like the Kings and the Knights did.
Canes are notoriously bad when well rested, this the case during the regular season for many years now and especially during the playoffs and especially when facing a Florida team who’s gonna get them off their game by making em chase hits all night instead of do what they do best. Were the Canes just rusty last night? Every didn't look good. To guess we'll find out tomorrow night.
Edmonton dominated P1 and P2 tonight but Dallas scores 3 PP goals in the 3rd to take the lead. Wow that's resiliency!
