New To Me Upshall

Looks like a nice thick pipe. The lighting is a little harsh in the photo, do you need to clean it up at all?

No it looks pretty clean, but i always polish the stems and buff with bee's wax .

Upshalls seem to have a great reputation as a higher end English pipe. I kind of associate them Ashton on that level, whether that actually makes sense or not. I don't know the details, but $72 sure seems like a good price as many Upshalls go for hundreds of bucks on the estate sites. Hope it brings you plenty of great smokes!

You can often find them around this price. Or around 100 for unsmoked.

Just got an Upshall in the last year or two, and they are phenomenal.

Upshalls have great wood with inexpensive stems (even Ken will say that). Don't take that as a negative. They are worth every cent and for the money, worth upgrading the stems on when they need it. For $72, you got a bargain.
