EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9) - Bob

Hi all, I had a tobacco shop in Lodi Ca for 23 years. I started purchasing Savinelli's first dated autograph in 1985. I sold many pipes over the years but kept for myself the savinelli rack and the first 7 Years of the pipes. Over the years my Savinelli sales rep was surprised I had the entire set still boxed and unsmoked with rack. I have been out of the business since 2004. I have no idea what the value is today, I know what I sold the individual pipes for in the day. I would like to know what the value is today. If interested I could send pictures. Thank you. Fred

Probably your best bet is to check EBay completed auctions to get a feel for what the going prices are. In general pipe prices are off from what they were in the last year or so since everybody’s buying up all the tobacco they can with their disposable cash...

Yes sir this should be the right place! Put some pics up and hang around :)

Tell CCR we said hey and they can set up a “Go fund me” if they’re still stuck out there.

It's kind of a specialty grouping you have put together, so it could be worth more than the sum of its parts, and the pricing would depend on how enchanted and turned in with it a potential buyer might be. You might get a better price by brokering it through a pro, like PipeStud on this site, who could present the set properly and would be likely to find buyers who would pay for the unique grouping.

I would think you got at least a grand tied up there. If not more, tough to say without knowing the grades or original sales prices.

I work in one of the biggest shops in Chicago during that period and those were always slow movers. The upside is you have the stand and they are all unsmoked. Chance at great estate pipes does an awesome job of selling on eBay as is likely to get you the highest return if you are interested in selling them. He sold some pipes for me recently and got more for me than I thought he would.

These are Savinelli Collection pipes, not Autographs. They have been putting them out yearly since 1985. You can still purchase most of the years at Savinelli.it.

Yes, those are not Autographs.
I don't follow Savinelli's closely, but I'd say value might be around $100/pipe.
Do some searches on Ebay and you'll find out pretty quickly.

Savinelli.it has 2 of the 7 years and they sell them for 166 euros. ($185) The 1985 year is extremely hard to come by so I would think more valuable. Based on Savinelli's price, that would bring the total to right about $1300. This doesn't including the stand and doesn't take into account being able to find all of the pipes if you were to buy them separately. Also in new/unsmoked condition. I would value them at around $1000 - $1500.
