New Pete broken in

I found this pipe online at Premier Estate Pipes. Looked good and the price was right ( $65 ) so I made it mine.
Peterson Donegal Rocky, shape XL 90, a big bent billiard. Hallmark shows "V" ( took a while to figure it out as the stamps are rather weak ) for 2006. A new old stock, pre-carbed bowl, green nylon baggie. A hefty pipe.
Finally took it for a smoke last night, smoked three half-bowls of Sunjammer while chatting with neighbors in the cool Alaskan autumn evening. Awesome pipe and very good baccy.

@keith - keep an eye out at SP, there have been an influx of estate Petes lately. Of course, no XL90s but .... This pipe, believe it or not, showed up in a Google search.

Great looking pipe! I believe current donegals are nickel banded. I wonder when they stopped using sterling on that line. Congrats!

@garyovich - I believe they switched to nickel bands on the Donegals in 2010 - 2011
