lighter, yup i found one, new in box...
but there is a problem, it looks like an undersized flint was forced into it and the flint wheel is jammed.
does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

If it was a Zippo, I'd spin the strike wheel backwards with the tension spring out. Should work

on a Nimrod I think. The flint should fall out. You may need to use a sewing needle to coax/guide

it out.

If it's one of those 'bolt' looking types, it's just a novelty lighter... not really serviceable

in my opinion. I can't stress enough how much better matches are unless you're outside in the wind,

then I go to a Zippo.

Same thing happened on a Nimrod I purchased. I had some drills from model-building, but I worked on that thing for three days before it came loose. Wouldn't you know, it leaked like a sieve and made my tobacco taste foul.
I hope your experience is much, much better than mine!
