I'm carving my own pipe from a pre-drilled kit. I hate the tacky stem the sent with the kit so I ordered a few lucite stems to use instead. The problem is I don't have a lathe, and the tenon is way too big for my pipe.
I've already destroyed one of the stems trying to resize the tenon by hand. I'm hoping someone here can bail me out and resize it for me if I send it to you. I'll send the stem to be resized, the stem that came with my pipe kit, and payment for the work done. I know it sounds like a weird thing to ask, but I'm kinda stuck waiting until I can afford a lathe unless someone can help me here.

One way would be to cut the tenon off and instal the Delrin tenon. Another would be to use a drill press as a lathe ( I never could do it). Pimo has a tenon tool for around seventy bucks. Or send the block out to have a stem fitted. Matching up to a stem is tricky at best.
