I just came onboard. I’ve been an on and off pipe smoker for over forty years. I rebuilding my collection which I sold off many years ago.
glad I kept my oldest pipe. I quit smoking for a few years and got rid of my other pipes including a cheap tyrolean pipe that should have been crap but smoked great (it had a warning label that said sure it works as a smoking pipe, but we made if too look nice not smoke better then crap), but I knew that I'd regret getting rid of anything that much nicer then I really deserved. Though if you let a well used pipe rest for a year or two it gets a really nice smell about it."Hey" from North Carolina. I encourage people to save their pipes when they quit, since many do return over the years. Luckily, I saved mine and have my first pipe, which still smokes well.
Just like in real estate! Location Location Location. It's fun and interesting to know where you're from.Welcome! What do you like to smoke
You can put your location in your Profile—(please!—because people will forget!) That will save questions in the future as to where you live when you later mention local stores, weather, tobacco prices, availability, regulations, location of photos, wildfires, air quality, etc., etc..
Under your avatar, (top right, left most of three symbols) you choose "Account Details", which brings up "My Account". "My Location" is halfway down. Whatever you're comfortable with- town, city, county, state. Just country if you must.
