Decided I would rescue another no name leather bound pipe that was in awful shape. So far it smokes well enough to keep. I was going to keep it smooth where the shank met the bit but I slipped :oops:

I didn't think to get a pic of the pipe when it was still leather covered.

Great job. What did you use to do it? Because I have a old mastercraft that has chipping varnish or something on it and was thinking about refinishing it.
