They are awesome as you can pull out the lit fuel tank and use it as a candle or to light your pipe. Try it!

That's the idea, I think the lit tank will be easier to maneuver around than my Zippo. Hopefully it doesn't leak fluid like my Zippo either.
I recall having those back in the days,they were very popular amongst seamen, but yes based on my experience the fuel in these will not evaporate as quick as with Zippos, refueling is less and its more practical in handling,though not odeur free'
