My Meershcaum Pipe

I just joined and deemed it necessary to show off my pipe.
This is my first pipe, and it's amazing. Only been smoking for a few days, so the color isn't quite changed, but there's some progression on it around the rim of the bowl!

Welcome to the forums! I like your choice of pipe. Great shape and you can't beat Meerschaum for smoking quality. Be sure to keep us updated on tobaccos that you try and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Can't go wrong with a Meerschaum. It will take some time to color, so be patient. The best way to color the pipe is to smoke it frequently.

That colouring of the rim might just be from holding your lighter or match too close while you're lighting your bowl.
Try wetting the rim before lighting up and suck down the flame to light.

Nice pipe, and as others have said, a good choice for a first. Frequent smokes and rubbing it down with melted beeswax with help with the coloring.
