My first real pipe arrived. I have a few cobs, and a Piazzolla straight billiard that I love more every time I use it, but this one caught my eye and I took the plunge.
Here it is on SPC
And in my possesion!

The inaugural smoke will be this weekend at my scotch club "meeting". I can't wait to bust this baby out!
Edit: I know my cobs are real pipes, and so is my piazzolla but this is the first one that I sunk any amount of cash into. I enjoy the heck out of all my pipes!

Congrats on a fine pipe. Savinelli was also my first pipe and it showed me what a good pipe was supposed to smoke like. It gave me a frame of reference so when I did buy a clunker down the road I knew it. I hope it smokes great for your.

It had its maiden voyage this past weekend and smoked great. Because of its lighter finish I am concerned about rim charring though! I use a regular zippo without the pipe insert so I'm going to have to be extra careful.
