I'm just beginning to research meerschaums and see this brand makes some nice looking, more traditional shapes for a reasonable price. Question is whether this brand, Muhsin, is a good one. Are there any other makes in this range that may be serviceable meers to start with?

I have one. It’s serviceable. Everything fits, it smokes well enough, and the materials seem good. The price is right.

The cons: The stem work is a bit sloppy, the little standard plastic tenon/screw in mortise thing is small diameter, and the bowl walls are thin, making it hot to hold.

It was good to dip a toe in, but just convinced me to buy an altinay.
