Since the upgrade I notice that when I'm typing a reply the box moves up and down. I think it may be when ads are loading or something like that. It is like playing a video game keeping the box where I can see what I'm typing. Sometimes the box moves all the way out of view. I do not have the issue when typing a new thread like now.

I'm using FireFox on MacOS X

Anyone else seeing this? Is it FireFox? Is there a fix?

Thanks,

George

I use a Mac with Google Chrome and Adblock. Adblock is disabled for this site to support the forum sponsors.
I have no problems or box movement.

On my phone, I don't get any ads at all when typing a reply. No movement, nothing. When I get home I'll look closer at my desktop.

It does move a bit, some times far enough that you can't see your typing. Seems to only do that on my Mac at home though, the PC and phone seem to work just fine.

No such thing here. It can also happen when the page is not finished loading pictures before you start typing. Also, (it just happened to me) when someone replies whilst you're typing and the page inserts a notification that "Messages have been posted since you loaded this page. View them?"

I like Whack-A-Mole.

My reply box does move on occasion. I've not yet determined a pattern to it.

I've solved that problem by taking a moment to scroll down a notch and that ends the stuttering. It 's not just this site. Something built into the platform's code.
