Most Popular Pipe Beards

What would you say are the most popular pipe beards? From my observations I would say the top three are: the neck beard, the bald beard, and the Gandalf. Surprisingly the Rapscallion and the Potion Castle don't seem to be trending in the piper community.

I’m a bald beard, as you say. But usually a ball cap or beanie beard. Bald heads sunburn or get cold easily.

I tried a beard years ago. It hid my endearing chin dimple. So, at my wife's request back to the Burnsides.

My wife was nagging me to cut my hair and beard, then when out walking the dog this afternoon some kids stopped playing basketball to tell me I "look like Thor and that's awesome." I of course had to immediately tell my wife that she was wrong again, and that I, in fact, look awesome. Like Thor.

Actually, I was discussing something similar with my girlfriend that other day... like 10 years ago I had long hair and a rather big beard, not all that unlike yours. Anyways, the weird thing is on a couple of occasions people thought I was homeless. On one occasion I was rambling the streets after leaving my favorite bar and looking in the window of some gallery late at night and somehow I struck up a conversation with this woman who I recall was headed to check on her father's cat as he was traveling. At some point she said "oh, I thought you were homeless" and the strange bit is a few minutes later she gave me her number.

@canucklehead btw, I do think you are doing the beard great justice letting it take its natural course. Groomed looking beards in my opinion are right up there with "man buns".
