HOLY MACKEREL
If you look carefully in there, you will see a vast wealth of tobaccos, some vintage, some contemporary. All of these are blends I hoped to get acquainted with one of these days, but in most cases, had written off because of the complexity of acquiring from overseas. The death metal is from REMAINS in Mexico, and is unrelated except that it came in the mail the same day.
Many thanks for this awesome mail tobacco bomb.
I look forward to trying all and each of these.

This Sabbath track becomes quite trippy and droned out...

Nothing like a good pipe and some smooth jazz.....no thanks, I like mine with a little Pantera...used to be Dimmu Borgir but I can't get enough replacement stems. I tried Children of Bodom once but I smoked it so fast my bowl exploded.

I like the slowed down Slayer... captures the dark spacious emptiness a little better.
I am not sure I would try to smoke to high-speed instrumental metal! It could result in unintended fires.
But doom metal works very well, as does some of the more doomy classic death metal.

When saying that...."dark spacious emptiness" my first thought was "I wonder what it's like to smoke a pipe in space." Pantera is good for all occasions.

It is indeed an amazing delicious stash, Mr. MSO489 (who will hopefully tell us the origin of that handle at some point). Look for the reviews soon! Circumstances have not permitted much pipe-smoking lately, reducing me to these ascots as a second best option.
Pantera is good for all occasions.
I like their cover of "Planet Caravan."
Pantera came out of the later years of speed metal, after their early years in glam (Google for the photos for a real giggle). I like the mention these related acts from the same era:

Arno!
Glad the package got there!
Love the pic!
I've been insanely busy these past 2 weeks, working 16 days straight and exhausted, finally winding down now.
Your package arrived 2 days ago and it blew my mind! :!: :!: :!:
An incredible box of delicacies!

So wonderful that it deserves its own thread and I'll take some pix and post it up a little later.
Will send a proper email later today, working again this afternoon but only half the day...

I am always a bit nervous when I send stuff to the USA.
I can see why. Our postal system has gone through some bad patches. But, generally the packages get here. Whether they survive local delivery or not is another story...

That and getting the package through customs without extra costs for the recipient..
Interesting. Back in the underground days, people used to always say to write GIFT in the blank to avoid that, since then it was not actually merchandise. Most of the people I know wrote "promo CDs" in the content description field.

Why should I pay the Dutch government extra money for things made in the USA that are not available here?
Simple questions are the hardest to answer. At this point, I'm opposed to paying any taxes beyond what is needed for our military. Everything else is a jobs program for idiots that gets in the way of ordinary people doing good things.
