Midrange Modern British Pipes

As a new pipe smoker, and someone who loves the classical British straight billiard shape, I’m surprised to see the British pipe makers falling so far behind the Italians on price-to-quality ratio. I’m looking for a solid $100 or less British straight billiard that’s a good smoker and new. Is there a Savinelli equivalent in British Pipes? Midrange, consistently great smokers, for $100 or less?
