The LGBTQ community reduces the traditional binary to rubble, and in the midst of this men and women continue to struggle throughout adolescence and young adulthood to define their gender identity. But the fluid thinking necessary to do so is dependent on education, and only a third of the US population has a college degree and only 13% a graduate degree, and neither success guarantees the achievement of analytical thinking had by only 15% of the world’s population.

It’s my contention that the least educated are bare chest thinkers that hold to definitions such as the biggest swinging d*ck while the highly educated have a broader palate that can include courage and compassion. To test this, if you live in a city, you only have to drive a few hours intro the countryside to encounter the primitive.
I respectfully disagree. I’ve known gentlemen that had to drop out of school at the elementary level to work and help keep their family from starving, and these guys were twice the man of most of the college professors I had. Education is a fine thing, but it doesn’t make the man.

C.S. Lewis is a widely valued intellectual in the Christian faith and has lots of valuable and worthy ideas. Depending on a physical characteristic , chest, as an image for some aspect of character is simply a linguistic and philosophical mistake in my opinion. A mistake of diction, actually, as in word choice. Perhaps he meant heart, but found that too sentimental sounding. Once an author sells well, his editors let her or him go his own way, even when help is needed, and likely this is such a case. If he'd published this early, an editor would have taken him aside and said, see here young man, this isn't what you mean.

It would just be too much for the senses huh? If men could discuss things, and inevitably disagree at times, while maintaining respect. I bet it would be a laugh to hear some of you guys define the term "political". You throw everything into a bin labeled "off limits/political" then sit around waiting to declare shenanigans, and post a picture of a wrecked train... then gloat about how you just knew this one would end badly. ?

I thought the section of the site labeled General Discussion was exactly for discussions like this one.. but hell no, everyone here is considerate, and everything's considered rude, so aint nobody saying shit.

and that's why we need men with chests..

When you've been here for a while, you can just smell them coming.
