Meerschaum Market

I am very close to pulling the trigger on a purchase from Meerschaum Market. It is carved by I. Baglan. Is there any reason to hesitate? It says that it is block meerschaum. Are there any questions that I should ask?

Baglan is a respected carver. I would make sure that I am clear on the size of the pipe. Sometimes photos can be deceiving.

I don't know about any other questions than the block one, but I've been looking at the Meerschaum Market too and I think I'm going to buy a gift for a lady friend from them soon.

I have always heard good things about Meerschaum Market on here. I would take a trip over to the meerschaum pipe section of the forum and ask around!
