An interesting Hurricane pipe.
Although it has various inscriptions on it, I couldn't find any info online about it.

On one side is marked with "Hurricane Standard - London Made" and on the other "Roy Tallented - Made in England". Does anyone know something about this pipe or maker?

From pipephil :

"Hurricane is not exactly a brand but rather a pipe type characterized by an integrated swivel cover. An H on the stem denotes a pipe produced by Orlik. These pipes were often made in collaboration with Nutt Products Ltd or were sometimes stamped for Roy Tallent Ltd."

Thanks my friend. That sorts it out. Indeed the stem is marked with an H, so it was produced by Orlik.

Until last week, I’ve never found a decent pipe in an antique store. But, this one was interesting enough to risk $15 on. I’ve been needing another lovat. When I found it, it had no finish left on it and the stem was completely stuck. The bamboo carving reminded me of some of my Radices.

It’s a Bamboo Briar made in Spain. It’s very light weight.

It needed a good bit of work, some of which I’d never attempted before. Never froze to remove a stem, never stripped, never re-stained, never buffed with compound. Got lots of information on each step right here. Cleaning, topping, stem restoration, and de-ghosting I’ve done before.

It’s finished with Renaissance Wax. I’ll light her up as soon as the wax stops gassing.
