i recently joined pipes magazine and spend many a happy hour

reading the fourms and advice .i live in the uk and strugle to find

online shops that have that particular shape /style and

whala i found a great site from one of the sponcers of p/m

and this afternoon hit the button check out

now i wait looking forward to the MAIL MAN

great fourm which i realy enjoy

yes it is a new pipe what i do is pick out may be 20 /30

pipes and then narrow it down to 1 was lucky it was a mark down

pipe from $200 to$100 they had taken it off the site but when i enquired

they still gave it to me at the sale price

i am very chuffed and excited i get the impression that

you guys in the states have a much larger selection than here

in the uk

my colection is growing slowly i have now 6 pipes

must start looking at estate pipes

i would watch the sales here on site i have gotten a couple of estates that folks have already cleaned up and are ready to smoke it may be a couple of dollars more than buying from ebay but i dont mind paying for their cleaning service and i have been very happy with all that i have gotten so far

Welcome to the club, David! We here in the States are lucky for the spoils of choice that we have, true, but alas our legislators are hell bent on making our past time exorbitantly expensive, if not downright illegal. Spend your money on tobacco, the pipes will come with time.

i am lucky i first started smoking pipes back in 1974 then stoped i cant recall the reason

so for me to pick up the basics is easy and i have a fair idea what appeals to me

dont know what happened to my origional collection moving around did not help
