Mail call - Mark Tinsky Commission

Here she is! I was very excited to receive this pipe I Mark Tinsky make for me in the mail Monday! It's a group 4 Billiard with a Sunset stain and a hand cut faux amber stem and a Mazur Birch Stem ring. It is only my second commissioned pipe, the other being a sandblasted Brandy from Jesse Jones. I figure if I'm going to spend money on pipes, why not have the exact pipes I want made for me. This way I have some say in their shapes, stains, stem materials, etc. After listening to his interview with Brian on the Pipes Magazine Radio Show, I knew I had to have one of Mark's pipes! I think she's a beauty!

Thanks, all. He made this in ONE DAY! His prices are very reasonable! Started breaking it in yesterday with Wessex Gold Virginia Flake. This will be a pure Virginia pipe. As much as I like Latakia, I just can't bring myself to ghost this one!
