I’m in the US, and after three hours on hold with USPS, I was told a MarTelo pipe I’ve been expecting is being returned to sender due to an address issue. I told them I would provide the correct address for them, and that there’s no need to send it all the way back to Brazil. They told me they’re sorry, but they can’t flag the box. I don’t know how that is, seeing as it’s scanned anytime it arrives or leaves anywhere.

I watched it through online tracking go from my post office in Ohio, to Chicago, then to Atlanta, and now back to Brazil.

It’s a bummer you’ve still got a box on the loose! Mail issues are always a pain! Hopefully we’ll both be happy and in possession of our boxes very soon!
I ordered from Switzerland to the US. The pipe arrived and cleared customs in three days. For two weeks it bounced around New York before being returned to sender because of an address issue. Turns out the customs sticker was placed over my address which is why it never got to me.

I bet that’s what happened with mine! What a silly mess! Hope you eventually received your pipe!

I don't think I would be so all inclusive, Casual. Everyone does not lie to customs. […] However, when my declaration of contents and value was 100% accurate and I still had the package refused and returned, that was very aggravating.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I did not mean to imply that your package was misleadingly labelled. I was trying to express that because so many packages are misleadingly labelled, the officers make all sorts of inconsistent judgments about packages. And that this explains why they both have and use these seemingly arbitrary powers to reject customs forms.

That stinks, and a marTelo to boot!

My Cor meer was shipped from Turkey and made it to NYC customs in about three days. That's where it stayed for the next two months +.
Eventually it actually arrived. Don't know if it was part of the issue but my zipcode was written oddly.. with a Turkish flair to the numbers.
