lookin for pipe info

I was given this pipe by one of my friends.It was his grandfathers pipe.He recently found it after being in storage for the last 15 years or so.I'm just looking for some info on it( in case any body asks I can at least tell them what kind of pipe I'm smoking)The only markings on it say Mediterranian aged briar.No other markings or stamps on it.

It looks like a Adjustomatic by Dr. Grabow to me... maybe "Patent Number 2461905".

If it is a Dr. Grabo it looks to be a very fine example.

That's a very interesting pipe...the smooth patch intrigues me. Have you gotten a chance to smoke it? It looks like it would smoke pretty well.

I can't identify it but it looks well cared for. Clean that puppy up and see how it smokes!

I've smoked it a few times.Definitly smokes nice.Still needs a little more tlc though.
