having smoked lots of this over the past 30 years or so, I can confirm that it is most assuredly not goopy. In many respects, despite the description of fruit and juice, it is not really an aromatic at all. It does, however, have a substantial "soapy" component. Not quite a Lakeland and not mixture 79 but it is present and you will notice it.

I Completely agree with Merton. The juice they put in this barely qualifies it for an aromatic. It's a fully matured tobacco made for folks who are not into aromatics but want something a little different. It's like a really high quality English with a subtle festive aroma. ZERO goop, in fact quite dry. The soapy component, I prefer to call it a clean scent is present but subtle, and it only manifests itself on occasion. Not Lakeland. If you want a bold Lakeland or want to know what one should taste like try GH Dark flake Scented.

LJP Thanksgiving Day is my absolute favorite Holiday blend. Second place doesn't even come close. It's like twice as far away. If you like English and want to be able to stay in the room while smoking it over the Holidays, this is the one for you.

WAIT! What am I saying? IT'S DISGUSTING, TERRIBLE, STAY AWAY!

It would be unfortunate if this fine blend found its way into the unobtanium black hole.... :)

I am surprised it's still available, but I just check and they still have it up for sale.
