Recently received an email that it will be in stock on Nov 1 and ready for shipping.

Thanksgiving Day blend is a four-ounce pressed cake that has been a tradition since 1939, which sounds fantastic. They describe it a sa mixture of 7 different tobaccos blended with a balance of dark rum and fruit juices was concocted and pressed into breakable 4 ounce cakes.
My question is it a goopy aromatic?

Not a goopy aromatic at all. It’s very unique, with an almost powdery floral aroma mixing with the dark fruit and spiced rum, all on a good burley. Totally unique, IMO. I like it a lot, but don’t really ever find myself craving it. It is aromatic, but more in a codger Burley way that in a goopy, say, Molto Dolce way.

A member sent me a generous sample of this. It's a pleasing mild aromatic. If it is a bit too mild for you, you can add a good pinch of Five Brothers or another sturdy tobacco. By itself, it's mild and pleasing.

I would recommend a phone in order. My, and several others here, credit card numbers got jacked placing an order in mid October from them. There is a thread on it. Just FYI

+1 I can vouch for this personally, I had to dispute a $257 fraudulent charge not long after ordering from them. I remember someone saying even the phoned in credit card numbers are winding up in the wrong hands. I know they're a brick and mortar but its unacceptable IMO. Won't be ordering from them again.

This does not sound very good, I will check and see if I can use a virtual card as I know some banks have them. Thanks for the heads up!

This is not accurate according to the President of the company. I spoke to him last week and he said they were aware of the issue and were working on the e-commerce side as well as internet security side. He assured me there have been no issues on phone in order cards and suggested we order by that route in the interim.

I placed an order for their Thanksgiving blend as well as a couple others this morning via the phone. It was actually much easier that the internet if they already have your info.

It's criminal that hackers can take a fine company like Peretti's and bring them to their knees.

I, for one will continue to support them. They make an excellent product and ordering the old fashioned way is not a burden on me.

AS ALWAYS: JMHO..

I here you. Maybe an outright boycott isn't called for since they've been a reputable company for a long time with quality products. We should give them a chance to straighten this out.

I just stopped by the store on Monday night and picked up a couple ounces of Cambridge Flake. I forgot to ask if the Thanksgiving blend was out. The Cambridge Flake is outstanding, though.

Each State has Security Breach Notification Laws. If the President of L.J. Peretti Co has acknowledged this Security Data Breach then he would be required to report this and to Post on the WebSite (once the beach was mitigated) to inform customers of the Website Data being compromised.

I ordered Thanksgiving day blend, London flake, and at James mixture. I enjoy their Park square the most and with a filtered pipe thief slices #8. Good stuff!

Today was my first smoke of the Turkey ay blend and it was not what I was expecting. A fairly well rounded blend with hints of several of the tobaccos represented. The flavor was good, not harsh and definitely NOT goopy. I would say a very satisfying blend. I have mostly stayed away from aros for the most part a.) due to the tongue bite, B) not a fan of the cherry stuff (chemical taste) and 3) the goopy wet mess in my pipe. This was a very nice surprise this morning. Will enjoy all 4 oz of it!!!
