It is indeed. I actually looked up the history. It is the result of the Latin e and t used for our 'and'. Over time fancy people had ways of combining the two letters and now we have &

Watched the video. The guy in the video, Daniel I guess, said there is a chocolate note to it. LJP says in their postings about the blend that a 'Despite its popularity, we had to discontinue it for several decades because we couldn't source some key ingredients'. Wonder what that could possibly be.

The could no longer source dark fired ampersands. They’re now produced in Cyprus but people say they aren’t as good.
