I consider myself generous to a degree but Im being stingy with this stuff.
I like regular FVF at 7-10 years. Ill give these tins another couple years.
I AM tempted to crack ONE but.. we'll see. Theyre stored in the drawer with all of my "special occasion" tins. All the 15-25 year old Pease and McClellands. :puffy:

I would be most interested to see what, if any, differences there are between this pre-aged FVF, and a standard tin of the same age, which if I understand correctly would have been tinned in 2012.

You misunderstood my words, or I was not clear enough. A standard tin of FVF, tinned in 2012, should contain tobacco of approximately the same age as this limited version, which was two years old when tinned in 2014.
